Our leadership team brings decades of combined experience across technology, finance, and operations, with a strong foundation in both business and technology. With a track record in SaaS, digital transformation, and international growth, they set the strategic direction for CTRL Commerce and drive our continued impact in the market.

John Browett

Chairman

John has been appointed as EO Group Chairman at the beginning of 2018. He joined the company with extensive experience at senior management level across retail, technology and M&A, including CEO positions at Dixons, Dunelm and Tesco.com.

John was also a global VP at Apple Retail and has held non-executive roles at Octopus Ventures and easyJet.

His appointment came at an exciting time as EO Group completed the purchase of Eurostat at the beginning of 2018. John’s experience will help EO Group to develop its ambitious growth plans across the group and investigate new routes for leveraging its award-winning technology.

Nick Wilson

Co-Chief Executive Officer

Nick is Co-Founder of CTRL Commerce and one of EO Group’s Co-CEOs with over 17 years of financial and commercial experience. During the dotcom boom Nick worked in Corporate Finance team at BT, gaining experience in acquisition of telco, ISPs and content businesses. Later he transferred to the mobile division in BT, working in the consumer mobile business where he was a key part of the team responsible for launching businesses in 6 countries around Europe. Later he joined the team responsible for demerger of all BT’s mobile businesses into O2.

Nick spent the last 14 years working for medium-sized private equity backed businesses. This has involved business restructuring, refinancing, process improvements, business partnering, business planning, commercial support, implementation of new IT systems, business acquisition and business sale.

His background, experience, broad understanding of the business, technical competency and overall leadership ability makes Nick a strategically oriented CFO who is strongly positioned to leverage his skills to continuously improve EO Group’s bottom line.

Richard Sinclair

Co-Chief Executive Officer

Richard is Co-Founder of CTRL Commerce and one of EO Group’s Co-CEOs, with over 20 years of experience in technology leadership and digital transformation. His career began in global technology and digital roles at leading organisations including Tesco.com, HSBC, RBS, and Sportingbet, where he led large-scale transformation projects and helped businesses adapt to the fast-evolving digital landscape.

Richard went on to focus on scaling technology-enabled platforms, driving SaaS adoption, and building marketplace solutions. His strategic focus has always been on leveraging technology to create scalable, customer-first solutions that unlock long-term equity value.

For the past decade, Richard has worked within private equity-backed businesses, helping to drive growth through product innovation, operational efficiency, and digital enablement. As Co-CEO of EO Group, he has played a pivotal role in developing and scaling B2B eCommerce strategies across the UK and Europe, including the successful launch and growth of Office Power.

Richard brings a blend of deep technical insight, commercial acumen, and a track record of delivering enterprise value—positioning him as a key driver of EO Group’s strategic growth and innovation.

Kevin Street

Board Member

Kevin co-founded Darwin Private Equity (“Darwin”) in 2006. Darwin backed EO Group in 2010 to accelerate its growth plans by investing in people, technology and selective acquisitions.

Kevin has been a member of the board since 2019 bringing his experience with businesses such as Esendex, Complete Cover Group, Datum Datacentres, Bromford Industries, Maxinutrition, Travelodge and Whittan Storage Systems to help advise and support EO Group on its growth path.

Kevin previously worked at Permira, RBS Leveraged Finance, RBS Mezzanine and Arthur Andersen’s Corporate Financial Service division where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Derek Elliott

Non-Executive Director

Derek is a Partner at Inflexion Private Equity, was previously a co-founder of Darwin Private Equity (“Darwin”) and remains a Non-Executive Director of EO Group. Darwin backed EO Group in 2010 to accelerate its growth plans by investing in people, technology and selective acquisitions.

Derek has been a valued member of the board over the last 11 years and brings his experience with businesses such as All3Media, ASK4, Attenda, AU-System, The Automobile Association, Complete Cover Group, Datum Datacentres, Inmarsat and Travelodge to help advise and support EO Group on its growth path.

Derek previously worked in the TMT investment team at Permira and Arthur Andersen’s Corporate Finance division and Turnaround Consulting practices, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
